What connecting unlocks

Three things that change the day you connect Xero.

01

Upcoming and overdue invoices both get the nudge they need.

DueDrop watches Xero for both — invoices coming due (so the client has a heads-up before the due date) and invoices that slipped past due. Set separate cadences for each. Warm reminders before, firmer ones after.

02

Client context pulls automatically

Name, amount, invoice number, due date, and prior email history — all attached to every draft, whether it's a friendly heads-up before the due date or a follow-up on an overdue balance.

03

One source of truth — yours

What's in Xero is what DueDrop acts on. The second you mark an invoice paid there, queued reminders stop here. No second spreadsheet, no double-nudges.

Setup

Three steps. Then it runs on its own.

Connect once — DueDrop handles the rest in the background.

STEP 01

Sign in with Xero.

Standard OAuth — you stay on Xero's own authorization screen. We never see your password, and you can revoke access in one click from your Xero account.

Xero + DueDrop

DueDrop is requesting access to your Xero account

Permissions requested
  • Read-only access to your sales invoices and payment status
  • Read contact names, emails, and invoice history
  • No access to bank feeds, payroll, or purchase data
  • No write access — we never modify invoices or records
STEP 02

DueDrop stays in sync with Xero in real time.

Create an invoice, update a due date, or mark one paid — DueDrop sees it within seconds, without you refreshing, resyncing, or doing anything else. Reminders queue automatically: a gentle heads-up as an invoice approaches its due date, and firmer follow-ups the hour it ages past due.

STEP 03

When an invoice goes overdue, DueDrop drafts and sends a reminder.

The draft matches your tone, fills in the client's name and invoice details from Xero, and sends from your connected email — on the cadence you set. No login required on your end.

Security & permissions

Minimal access, always in your control.

One click in your Xero account cuts us off completely. Cancel DueDrop and we delete your data — no lingering copies.

FAQ

About the Xero integration specifically.

Which Xero regions does DueDrop support?
All of them. If you can log into Xero, DueDrop can connect — US, UK, AU, NZ, and every global edition use the same OAuth model underneath.
Does DueDrop handle multiple Xero organisations?
Yes, but each organisation needs its own DueDrop workspace. Xero's OAuth tokens are scoped to a single org — this is a Xero constraint, not ours. Your subscription covers all workspaces you create.
What happens when I apply a payment in Xero?
DueDrop sees it within seconds via webhook and immediately cancels any queued reminders for that invoice. No awkward follow-ups after the money has landed.
Does DueDrop write anything back to Xero?
No. The integration is read-only. We pull invoice and contact data; we never create, modify, or void anything in your Xero organisation.
Does this work with Xero's repeating invoices?
Yes. Once a repeating invoice generates an actual invoice in Xero, DueDrop treats it like any other — watching for the due date and queuing a reminder if it ages past your threshold.
