Xero's invoice reminders are genuinely good — you can edit the template, insert placeholders, set your own intervals before and after the due date, choose the reply-to address, and switch reminders off for a particular customer or invoice. If a scheduled message you write once is all you need, use the feature you already pay for — this page isn't trying to sell you a second copy of it.
DueDrop adds the part Xero doesn't have: the conversation happening in your inbox.

Questions before you connect anything.
Xero's reminders are already customisable. Why would I add DueDrop? +
They are, and if editing the template got your invoices paid then you probably don't need us. The difference isn't customisation, it's that a template is written once for everyone. DueDrop writes each follow-up from the actual thread with that client, and it stops chasing when they reply rather than only when the invoice is marked paid.
Should I turn off Xero reminders if I use DueDrop? +
For the clients you hand to DueDrop, usually yes — otherwise the customer may get two messages about the same invoice. Xero lets you switch reminders off per customer or per invoice, so you can run both side by side while you're trying DueDrop out.
Does DueDrop change anything in my Xero organisation? +
No. The Xero connection is read-only. DueDrop reads invoice status, due dates, contact details and payment records, and never creates, modifies or deletes anything in your books.
How quickly does it notice a payment? +
Xero notifies DueDrop by webhook, so payments are usually picked up within seconds and any queued follow-ups for that invoice stop straight away.
What if I manage several Xero organisations? +
Each organisation connects to its own DueDrop workspace. Your subscription covers every workspace you create.
What does DueDrop need from my email? +
Enough to read the prior thread with the clients you invoice — that is what each draft is written from — to send approved follow-ups through your mailbox, and to notice replies so it knows when to stop. It is OAuth throughout, so we never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time from your DueDrop account or directly in Google or Microsoft.
